Shandong Literature Collection is a major project specially approved by Shandong provincial government. The editor- in- chief is Han Yuqun, and the vice editors are Zhan Tao, Zhu Zhengchang, Wang Xuedian and Hao Feng.

Shandong is the hometown of Confucius and Mencius. It has produced a large number of cultural celebrities and left rich works in history. However, due to various reasons, there is no corresponding literature collections. In order to compile a literature collection representing the achievements of traditional culture in Shandong, the Institute of Literature, History and Philosophy of Shandong University organized and planned the compilation of Shandong Literature Collection, which was strongly supported by Shandong provincial government and leaders of Shandong University. It plans to give priority to the selection of works by Shandong sages with high academic value but not widely spread, as well as important works about Shandong written by a small number of people from other provinces, while taking into account the representative works of people in Shandong with significant historical influence, totaling 1,000 species. There are 200 volumes in hardcover, and 1 volume of the synopsis is attached. A batch of unpublished manuscripts with significant value will be published for the first time. The publication of Shandong Literature Collection will contribute to the construction of a strong cultural province.
