On the June 18th, The "Life Confucianism" international academic seminar was successfully held online. This conference is also the fourth "Life Confucianism" National Academic Seminar and the second "Life Confucianism" Youth Scholars Forum. The conference was co-sponsored by the Advanced Institute for Confucian Studies of Shandong University, School of Philosophy and Sociology of Hebei University, Chungnam National University, Confucius Institute of Culture Qufu Normal University, Shandong Academy of Social Sciences and the Sichuan Thinkers Research Center. More than 40 scholars from Renmin University of China, Shandong University and other scientific research institutions attended the meeting.
The meeting was first addressed by the representative of the sponsor, and presided over by Professor Xu Qingwen, Vice President of the Advanced Institute for Confucian Studies of Shandong University. Professor Cheng Zhihua, Dean of the School of Philosophy and Sociology of Hebei University, started from the dilemma faced by metaphysics today, through the thought of life Confucianism, and by analyzing the concepts of "totality", "noumenon" and "Tao", he inquired into the metaphysical roots of Chinese philosophy. In view of the ecological crisis faced by human beings, Professor Jin Shizhen, director of the Confucian Institute of Chungnam National University, contacted life Confucianism and pointed out that the rich ecological resources of Confucianism can overcome many limitations faced by the western centered ecological theory. Tu Keguo, a researcher who is the founding director of the International Confucianism Research Institute of the Shandong Academy of Social Sciences, stressed that life Confucianism can also expand the research on the construction of human thought and the ideal personality of Confucianism. Professor Yang Yongming, director of the Sichuan Thinkers Research Center, pointed out that life Confucianism can play an important role in cultivating and cultivating a gentleman's personality. Professor Xu Qingwen discussed the characteristics of humanities and the development of Confucianism. He believed that the characteristics of humanities were root, transcendence and classicality; After time accumulation, life Confucianism will become a classic.

Professor Ni Peimin of Grand Valley State University, Professor Li Chenyang of Nanyang Technological University, Professor Guo Yi of Seoul National University, Professor Cai Jiahe of Tunghai University, Professor Li Chenglu of Kyungpook National University, Professor Li Zhiyi of Kongju National University, and lecturer Li Huizi of Sungkyunkwan University expressed their respective academic opinions.
The second seminar was hosted by Professor Zeng Zhenyu, Professor of the Advanced Institute for Confucian Studies of Shandong University. Professor Yao Xinzhong of Renmin University of China, Professor He Zhonghua of Shandong University, Professor Lin Zhongjun of Shandong University, Researcher Zhao Fasheng of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Researcher Liu Yuedi of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Professor Chen Yun of East China Normal University, Professor Zhu Cheng of East China Normal University, Professor Li Yong of Wuhan University, and Professor Bian Shaobin of Southeast University discussed relevant academic topics.
The third seminar was hosted by Professor Shen Shunfu of the Advanced Institute for Confucian Studies of Shandong University. Professor Zhang Ruitao of China University of Petroleum, Professor Lu Yinghua of East China Normal University, Researcher Zhang Zhihong of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Researcher Song Daqi of Shanxi Academy of Social Sciences, Researcher Liu Yunchao of Shandong Academy of Social Sciences, Lin Guojing of Wenzhou University, Associate Researcher Guo Ping of Shandong University, Associate Professor Chen Yingnian of East China University of Technology, and Associate Researcher Zhang Hongbin of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences conducted in-depth discussions.
The fourth seminar was hosted by Zou Xiaodong, Associate Professor of the Advanced Institute for Confucian Studies of Shandong University. Li Haichao, associate professor of Nanjing University, Sun Tieqi, associate professor of Jilin Normal University, Cui Gang, associate professor of Southwest Jiaotong University, Yang Shengzhao, associate professor of Ocean University of China, Dong Weiguo, associate professor of Southwest University of Political Science & Law, Wang Kun, associate professor of Sun Yat-sen University, Yang Hu, associate professor of Lanzhou University, and Li Hongli, lecturer of Zhejiang University of Technology, made speeches on related topics in turn.
At the end of the meeting, associate professor Hu Jiaojian of Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences summarized the meeting from eight aspects: the first is the overall evaluation of life Confucianism; the second is the dialogue between life Confucianism and other philosophical thought systems; the third is the discussion of life ontology; Fourth, the discussion of metaphysical dimension in life Confucianism; the fifth is the discussion of the dimension of under physique in life Confucianism; the sixth is the relationship between life confucianism and personality shaping; the seventh is the general methodological significance of life Confucianism; the eighth is a thematic discussion on specific themes and research objects.
Life Confucianism is a contemporary Confucian ideology created by Mr. Huang Yushun. So far, the academic community has published and published more than 200 research or review articles, 9 anthologies and 2 monographs.
